LEADERSHIP IN CHURCH COMMUNITY
Served as Youth President (2014-2021) and District Youth President (2016-2020), where I organized community events, delivered impactful speeches, and led groups to win first and second prizes in various competitions. My leadership fostered trust and collaboration within the community, culminating in my representation of the church at the regional level in 2018—the youngest ever to do so. Entrusted by the church elders, now I oversaw disciplinary actions and finance activities, directed skits, and played a key role in decision-making.
MY ENTREPRENEURIAL JOURNEY
Co-founded ElioZEst Power Pvt. Ltd in 2018 shortly after graduating and was entrusted to lead the company. I built two technician teams from the ground up, enhancing operational efficiency and fostering a culture of collaboration. Achieved cash-positive status early on while expanding responsibilities to encompass project management, financial oversight, and business development strategies. Despite the pandemic’s challenges, I managed a strategic shutdown in 2022 due to liquidity issues.
DIGITAL EXPERTISE AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
During the lockdown, I took the initiative to create an online church service to maintain community engagement when physical gatherings were halted. The service quickly grew to 1.5k viewers within a month, demonstrating my ability to adapt to digital platforms. Following this success, I was asked to establish similar services for two additional churches. I later transitioned Calcutta Girls’ High School to a fully online platform, where I currently serve as IT administrator.
GETTING NOC AND SECURING AFFILIATIONS
I led the effort to secure the NOC from the West Bengal Education Department and ICSE Board affiliation for Calcutta Girls’ High School. I independently studied the guidelines and managed both offline and online applications. Within six months, I obtained the NOC, and after ten months of preparation, the school received its ICSE affiliation, a significant milestone. This success led to me being entrusted with overseeing all Council-related matters, including faculty papers, teacher distribution, and the conduct of examinations.
BLOGGING AND SELF-HOSTING ACHIEVEMENTS
Fueled by my passion for building, I constructed a NAS and Firewall from scratch and self-hosted numerous open-source applications, managing everything from photos and movies to documents, credentials, and home automation. My personal website is hosted on it, and I continuously expand it with new services, including AI tools. To give back to the community, I maintain a 24×7 TOR middle relay and manage FreeBSD jail templates for all my hosted services. I also publish weekly tutorials on self-hosting projects on my website
